Job Title: Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor Salary: £85,000 - 100,000 (Plus additional company benefits) Location: Central London Company Description A UK leading M&E Building Services Contractor are going through an exciting time in the company's history. They are actively seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor for their Central London office & projects due a strong pipeline of works for the next 4 years with tier one principal contractors. Renowned for providing the full turnkey solution delivering projects from inception till competition from an engineering led background. My client has placed in the top 30 M&E Contractors list consecutively for the past 20 years, demonstrating that they have been one of the leading contractors within the major commercial office, Critical Services (Data Centres & Banking), life sciences and industrial sectors in the UK. My client is seeking M&E Quantity Surveyors from either a tier one or two MEP contracting background to play a key role in major projects valued upwards of £40 million MEP. Due to the nature of their works the ideal candidate will have played a key role in the development of large projects in London with values upwards of £15 million M&E. Responsibilities/ Key Experiences Required Played a key role in the development of project from inception till completion with project values upwards of 15 million M&E. Tendering & procurement processes. Forecasting and monitoring costs throughout project programme. Oversee final accounts. Valuing variation orders. Cost reporting. Contract administration. Liaise with the commercial and operational team to ensure that the installations always adhere to the budget. Develop a cash flow forecast. Client facing. Supporting the monitoring of the progress of the Works. The preparation and submission of contractual notices and / or correspondence to both the Client and Sub-Contractors. The preparation, submission and agreement of Interim Applications and Final Accounts. Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets. Attend monthly commercial meetings to provide update on any ongoing contract specific negotiations and overall job performance. Compile monthly progress reports for both the Contracts team & Commercial Manager. preparing material and subcontractor procurement, valuation of works and financial reporting. Liaising, negotiating, and relationship building with clients and consultants on an on-going basis. Be responsible for securing the successful financial delivery of projects by controlling costs, progressing monthly valuations, and managing variations and change orders. Liaising with contracts, estimating and pre-construction teams to obtain full understanding of each project scope.
