Inside Sales RepresentativeRef: CN46348-2 A Japanese forwarding company in London is looking for an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team, to be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting logistics services, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international logistics sales or shipping operations, with a deep understanding of freight forwarding processes. Business level of English language skills will be required. Eligible applicants: - (O) Eligible visa: Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner - (X) NOT eligible: Student visa, Requiring visa sponsorship, Working holiday, Graduate Work type: Office-based Visa support: No TYPE: Permanent, full-time WORKING HOURS: Mon-Fri 7.5 hours a day (Core hours Mon-Fri 10:00-16:00) SALARY: £30k-£35k START: ASAP LOCATION: London Inside Sales Representative Main Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the logistics and freight forwarding sector Understand customer needs and propose tailored international logistics solutions Handle inbound sales inquiries and assist clients with product and service information Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth handling of shipments and logistics processes Provide accurate quotes, estimates, and product information to customers Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall business growth Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align strategies and drive results Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, shipping regulations, and market developments Inside Sales Representative Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in international logistics sales or shipping operations is required Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding processes, customs procedures, and logistics services Proven track record in sales, with the ability to meet or exceed targets Experience working with Japanese clients and understanding of Japanese business culture (Preferred) Familiarity with logistics software and shipping management tools (Preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools Fluent in English (both written and spoken) Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities (Preferred) All applicants for the Inside Sales Representative must have the right to work in the country without any restrictions as the Company is not able to offer visa support.
