Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours
Basic Salary: £50,000.00 to £65,000.00 Per Annum
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

Our very well-established client, is looking for a highly dynamic and enthusiastic SHEQ Manager to join their team and take full ownership of the Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and Environmental matters on a Full Time Permanent basis. As the SHEQ Manager, you will function as the core point of contact for Health & Safety matters reporting directly the senior leadership team.
As the SHEQ Manager, you will:
1. Be the go to person for the company regarding quality assurance, Health & Safety and Environmental matters.
2. Maintain accreditations for various testing and inspecting material.
3. Develop and maintain a ISO 9001:2015 accredited management system as the SHEQ Manager
4. Enhance the group Health & Safety activities and compliance to UK legislation adopting best in class processes throughout the organisation.
5. Manage quality control activities and provide support to the relevant teams as appropriate.
6. Promote physical and behavioural safety beliefs to all employees
7. Become involved in other group compliance requirements such as REACH, Material Stewardship and F-Gas as SHEQ Manager.
SHEQ Manager candidate:
8. Minimum NEBOSH Certificate, working towards or has NEBOSH Diploma Level 5 as SHEQ Manager
9. Minimum of 4 to 5 Years experience in Health and Safety management
10. Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 or, equivalent Quality Management System
11. Fantastic communication skills with good influential and analytical skills
12. An enthusiastic and dynamic personality with a highly ‘proactive attitude’.
13. A ‘natural ability’ to instantly develop a conversational relationship
