We provide advice on all aspects of healthcare law, including clinical negligence, patient safety, consent to treatment, human rights, child law, and mental health. As an Administration Assistant, you will report to your Support Team Manager and play an integral role in the efficient running of the team. Your tasks will include: Processing incoming post via FlowMatrix, including extraction of key dates Opening new files General file maintenance Closing files and archiving Carrying out general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and shredding Electronic Filing – familiarity with the setup of files and consistency and accuracy in filing all information as per the MatterSphere system Complying with all data security procedures at all times Keeping all file information updated – associates / MI / key dates Processing medical records – including requested DPA checks Adhering to service levels within the team and ensuring work is completed within these levels Liaising with other support team members to effectively manage workload Being responsible for your own training needs and keeping up to date with all training opportunities Providing assistance in the billing process and other admin duties as needed Resolving minor IT problems and having proficient knowledge of Microsoft and MatterSphere This list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to perform other duties that fall within the wider remit of the role. As an Administration Assistant, you will also ensure compliance with relevant Weightmans and client policies and procedures and consistently work in accordance with our values.
