An opportunity to work at Farnsfield St Michael’s C of E Primary School who caters for approximately 280 children between the ages of 4 and 11 situated in the small village of Farnsfield.
The Governors wish to appoint a Midday Supervisor/ Playworker to join their current team of lunchtime support staff, who will be responsible for the supervision of children on the school premises throughout the midday break both in the dining room and around the school. They will also work with the children to promote positive playtimes by teaching them new games and rules for games, encouraging them to demonstrate to each other how to play and interact.
The successful candidate will be a responsible and caring adult who is committed to supporting and contributing to the school ethos of love to learn, learn to love and the values of Happiness, Respect, Forgiveness, Responsibility, Honesty, Acceptance and Perseverance. The position is permanent and part time.
