Senior Data Governance Consultant
Seeking experienced professionals to lead data management initiatives and drive business growth in the government and defence sectors.
About the Role
The Data Management team is part of our Consultancy Services Group, which has over 65 professionals. We help clients develop digital and data strategies, design and implement data-centric solutions, and support business change.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop client business cases for data management initiatives
* Establish effective frameworks for data governance, master data management, and data quality
* Perform data management maturity assessments and develop recommendations for clients
* Work independently or as part of a team to understand client data management capabilities and translate them into target operating models, architectures, and roadmaps
* Develop trusted relationships with clients to generate further sales opportunities
Essential Skills
* Data Governance - Experience establishing Data Governance Capabilities from scratch
* Business Case Development for Data Management Initiatives
* Data Management Frameworks and Assessments
* Data Migration Strategy & Implementation Planning
* Stakeholder engagement skills
* Business Change Management
* Experience of working with Central or Local Government
* Knowledge of established Data Management frameworks and best practice approaches

* Willingness to travel to work at client sites, mostly Southern England based

Certifications (Desirable)
* DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
