Aston Business School The objective of the Decarbonization Net Zero Programme is to assist small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with support to reduce their carbon footprint. The project comprises a small, dedicated team, supported by academics across disciplines at Aston University led by the project lead, Professor Prasanta Dey and the project manager Martin Grant. Based at Aston Business School, the project is seeking to recruit a Promotion and Event Coordinator to support and coordinate activities across the West Midlands. The post will also work with partners to ensure consistent project promotion across the region. Funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), the role will involve promotion of the project, via digital content and face to face events to engage businesses in decarbonization processes, which includes but not limited to demonstrating the project to prospective businesses using both physical and digital channels such as setting up workshop events, organizing business forum, developing content for case studies and e-mail campaigns, organizing events jointly with project partners. The Promotion and Event Coordinator will closely work with the project Marketing Manager and Project Manager to ensure effective demand management of the project, to collate data on delivered promotional activities and to report data on delivered digital and face to face promotional activities.
