We are looking for a PR expert to run all our external communications for both the Warner Hotels brand and at a local hotel level. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning all consumer PR as well as corporate and media crisis management.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a great understanding of the hospitality industry and posses strong experience in copywriting as well as strong relationships and connections with relevant press contacts.The PR Manager will be a key support role to the Brand Director. The position will be responsible for implementing strategy, initiatives, planning, coordination and management of the brands and hotel’s integrated plans. Reporting directly to the Brand Director, they will create and communicate the brands and hotel’s messages, oversee and manage all community programming, and ensure overall continuity of hotel brand consistency and image.What will you be doing?Develop and execute an impactful external comms strategy and plan that builds and strengthens our brand reputation, builds awareness and delivers understanding of our core propositionCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, social media, and creative, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to all marketing activityOversee planning and execution of PR campaigns, ensuring messaging is consistent across all channels and effectively resonates with our target audienceAbility and confidence to be able to write press releases when needed and sell into mediaWork with the Brand team to craft compelling narratives, key messages and press releases that are in line with the communication plan and effectively communicate Warner’s unique selling proposition and campaignsCreate and annual corporate media plan and engage senior leadershipCoordinate multiple stakeholders and advise senior leadership on significant reputational issues to the businessProvide strategic counsel and briefings for senior leadership team on key issues and engagement with media.Have the know-how and experience to expertly manage media crises and manage and monitor issues, alongside full business co-ordinationOccasionally work out of hours to manage any media crisesLead and manage the relevant PR agenciesCoordinate media interest for the brand and hotels and ensure regular contact with target mediaEnsure the hotels have relevant and suitable press trips booked in throughout the year.
