As a charitable trust with a strong track record of community engagement, we are looking for a Volunteer Grant Researcher and Bid Writer to join the Estates and Stewardship Team in Lawley Village to support us in delivering community initiatives.
The Volunteer Grant Researcher and Bid Writer would be perfect for someone with a passion for internet/database research and report writing. As we are currently developing our Volunteer Placements, this is an opportunity to be at the start of this journey with us.

Job Profile
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Volunteer Grant Researcher and Bid Writer to support our team by researching and facilitating community funding opportunities. This role, within the Estates and Stewardship Team, is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our services for residents and helping us achieve our mission within the local community.
In this role, you will conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources. You will prepare compelling grant proposals, write funding bids, report/monitor progress, and ensure compliance with conditions. You will need to be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have excellent writing skills.

* You will be creative and passionate about the community and its residents.
* Being organised and having good problem-solving skills is key, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* You will be self-motivated and have a willingness to learn.

BVT provides Long Term Stewardship services for two villages within Telford, Lawley and Lightmoor, which are in the final phases of development.
