Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Project Engineer to join our well established client.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management of site projects from detailed design to project completion while ensuring on-time completion and keeping within budgeted costs with minimal impact to site operations through all project phases across sites.
Duties:
1. Work within the ethos and standards of the company.
2. Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean working environment and permit system is adhered to.
3. Site Project Management of Capex Projects and Operational projects.
4. Contractor Management ensuring Health & Safety procedures are in line with company policies.
5. Sourcing cost-effective solutions & working with Suppliers for best return on investment.
6. Lead projects from detailed design to successful approval stage.
7. Flexible working hours and days to meet Project deadlines & schedules.
8. Completion of snag lists, site handover protocols and updating site folders.
9. Effective planning, co-ordination, and communication with site departments across all sites.
10. Liaise with relevant departments to assist in the smooth running of the organisation during project stages.
11. Work with Project Manager UK to drive change & adhere to industry best practices.
12. Communicating effectively with Project Managers, Site Management Teams, and Senior Management.
13. Travel between sites required based on projects.
14. Travel to sites in Europe for project design & info sharing as and when required.
15. Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management.
Requirements:
1. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree qualification.
2. 2+ years' post-graduation Engineering work experience.
3. Decisive & ability to make decisions quickly and effectively to meet deadlines.
4. Highly motivated with proven ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team.
5. Team player who will work with others and individually to achieve company goals.
6. Methodical with excellent organisational and communication skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly identify practical solutions.
8. Ability to multi-task across multiple projects across multiple sites.
9. Experienced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package.
10. Project Management and CAD experience an advantage.
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 Per Annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hrs per week.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
