You will be responsible for running sections in the kitchen in our small plates restaurant. You will typically work under the head chef and are responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals, as well as assisting in managing the stock and ordering of supplies.
Some specific duties may include:
* Assisting the executive chef in the planning and execution of menus
* Overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals to ensure that they meet the high standards we have set
* Managing the kitchen in our head chef's absence following tasks set
* Monitoring food stock and ordering supplies as needed
* Assisting with the development of new recipes and menu items
* Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment
* Ensuring that all food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner
* Sunday Lunch feast abilities essential!
You should have a strong kitchen background and excellent leadership and management skills. You should also have a thorough understanding of food safety guidelines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
