We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves repairs, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and other tasks to meet the needs of the business. JOB & OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE To effectively assist in the day to day tasks within the workshop Ensure H&S is at the forefront of all activities. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuring repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Carrying out general servicing and maintenance. Assisting in the fault diagnosis process. Complying with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair. Road testing vehicles when required (if holder of HGV licence). Ensuring that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller. Completing relevant paperwork and documentation.
