Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our team in Staines, UK. This role is pivotal in managing daily HR operations, driving employee engagement, and supporting strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of HR processes, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations (UK)
1. Oversee HR and recruitment processes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
2. Maintain and update employee records in compliance with UK employment laws and company standards.
3. Ensure compliance with sponsorship regulations, attendance tracking, and leave management.
4. Support HR-related documentation, including contracts, onboarding, and employee records.
5. Handle ad hoc HR operational tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Employee Engagement & Development (UK)
1. Plan and execute employee engagement activities to enhance workplace culture.
2. Assist in identifying training and development needs and coordinating learning programs.
3. Support performance management processes and employee evaluations.
4. Manage annual employee appraisals and feedback sessions.
5. Handle ad hoc tasks as required by the line manager.
Compliance & Policies (UK)
1. Ensure compliance with UK employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
2. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
3. Manage employee relations, addressing grievances and disciplinary matters with fairness and sensitivity.
Reporting & Analytics
1. Prepare and analyze HR metrics, such as employee turnover, recruitment efficiency, and engagement trends.
2. Provide timely reports and recommendations to support HR decision-making.
General Support
1. Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
2. Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably within a UK-based company.
Skills & Competencies
1. Strong knowledge of UK employment laws, HR policies, and compliance regulations.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
4. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
6. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
