About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor to oversee multiple projects valued at up to £800K. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing contractual and commercial aspects while ensuring project delivery meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and report on all contractual and commercial aspects of projects.
* Plan resources for engineering, site management, and CAD requirements.
* Produce procurement, drawing, and technical submittal schedules, as well as RFI and cost forecasting schedules.
* Develop detailed building services programs aligned with the main contractor’s schedule.
* Attend site meetings as the lead representative on mechanical issues.
* Plan, program, organize, and monitor project progress.
* Oversee the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
* Develop and execute risk management strategies.
* Maintain strong client and partner relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Provide technical expertise to the internal project team and advisory support to clients.
* Manage variation costing and control in collaboration with Quantity Surveyors and main contractors.
* Oversee project handover and aftercare.
Candidate Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of experience managing Mechanical and Electrical installation projects.
* Proven experience in sectors such as education, healthcare, retail, commercial, and public sectors is highly desirable.
* HNC or Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
