This is a wonderful opportunity to play a key role in shaping the educational journey of young learners in a nurturing and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Offer one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEN, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
* Assist teachers in creating and delivering Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
* Help with classroom activities to ensure all students are actively engaged and able to participate.
* Work closely with families and carers, providing updates on progress and celebrating achievements.
What We're Looking For:
* Prior experience with SEN is advantageous, but a positive attitude, patience, and a commitment to helping children succeed are most important.
* Flexibility and creativity to adapt learning approaches for different abilities.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff and families.
* A driver's license and access to a car are beneficial but not essential for this Newham-based role.
