Waste Account Manager
Location: Bolton, Northwest England
Waste Account Manager Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Waste Account Manager to join our field team. The primary purpose of this role is to build and maintain sustainable relationships with a diverse portfolio of customers, focusing on delivering profitable growth for the company. The role encompasses managing 80% existing accounts and developing 20% new business opportunities.
Waste Account Manager Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management:
o Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth.
o Serve as the main point of contact for your customer portfolio, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
o Monitor and analyse account performance to identify opportunities for upselling and improving profitability.
* New Business Development:
o Proactively identify and engage with potential new clients to expand the customer base.
o Develop tailored proposals and presentations to win new business opportunities.
* Profitability and Growth:
o Drive sustainable and profitable growth through effective account management and strategic customer engagement.
o Work closely with internal teams to optimise service delivery, pricing strategies, and account performance.
* Relationship Building:
o Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to foster long-term partnerships.
o Attend client meetings and site visits as necessary to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
* Reporting and Strategy:
o Prepare regular reports on account performance, market trends, and business development opportunities.
o Contribute to the development of sales and account management strategies aligned with company goals.
Waste Account Manager Key Skills and Attributes:

* Knowledge of the waste management industry is advantageous but not essential.
Hours:
* Full-time, 42.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, shifts between 7am and 5.30pm on a rota basis. Naturally, you would be on the road 4-5 days per week visiting customers and prospecting.
* Occasional flexibility may be required to meet business needs.
Waste Account Manager Salary and Benefits:
* Competitive salary from £28 - 35,000 per annum DOE (to be discussed during the interview). Plus performance based commission circa £6,000 per annum.
