Position: Management Accountant (Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/AAT)
Join a growing Top 50 accountancy and tax advisory practice in Winchester, specializing in the farming and agricultural sector, landed estates, and private client spaces. This brand-new role is designed to manage financial reporting, management accounts preparation, and day-to-day financial operations for several companies within the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Record and post day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
2. Prepare and file VAT returns.
3. Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts.
4. Support budgeting and forecasting.
5. Identify, investigate, and resolve account discrepancies.
6. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and maintaining supplier records.
7. Balance sheet management and reconciliation.
8. Produce draft financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss, and balance sheet.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' UK experience in either practice or industry and be part way through studying towards ACCA, ACA, or at least AAT qualified. Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential. A full driving license and the ability to work in other locations are required. Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, and strong written and verbal communication skills are also necessary.
