Early Years Practitioner - Nursery Grade 3 £24,404 - £25,183 Full Time, Whole Time Permanent Required as soon as possible The Governors of St Oswald’s CofE Aided Primary & Nursery School are seeking to appoint an excellent early years practitioner to join our dedicated and friendly nursery team. The successful candidate will become part of a committed and successful team who have high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children’s academic and pastoral development. Our children need a practitioner who will take an interest in them as individuals and who will ensure that they make excellent progress both socially and academically. Our nursery is open for 45 weeks of the year – school terms plus some of the school holidays. This position is ‘whole time’ which means that you will work in school term time (38 weeks) plus inset days (1 week) plus 6 weeks of the school holidays. Your annual leave will be taken during the nursery closure periods. Usual working pattern in term time is: Monday 7.45-1.15 Tuesday 7.45-1.15 Wednesday 8-6 Thursday 7.45-3.15 Friday 7.45-3.15 Please note that the setting is open 7.45am-6pm and your working pattern may vary (including in school holiday periods when it is open 8am-5pm). The successful applicant will be an Early Years Practitioner who meets our essential criteria (and desirable) as outlined in the person specification for this post.
