Robert Half is supporting a Global Consulting Firm in recruiting a UAT Tester with a focus on audit system testing for a major programme centred around Cases and Claims data. This contract role is ideal for an experienced UAT Tester with strong knowledge of audit workflow processes and dependencies between stages to ensure that end-user functionality requirements are fully met.
Assignment Details:
* Location : Remote with 1-2 days on-site in Leeds
* Duration : Initial 6-month contract
* Day Rate : £400 p/day gross basic PAYE, with holiday pay accrued on top at £48 per day, for a total gross rate of £448 p/day. Please note: Employer’s NI & tax are already deducted, unlike umbrella companies, and there are no umbrella company admin fees.
* Start Date : Immediate start with approximately 1-2 weeks for onboarding
Experience Required:
* Experience in financial services with a focus on testing compliance-driven applications or systems.
* Strong understanding of Audit Workflow and the dependencies between various stages of the process .

* Skilled User Acceptance Tester (UAT) with a solid grasp of UAT protocols and methodologies .
* Experience working within agile development environments, collaborating closely with development and business teams.
* Excellent collaborative abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
* Proven ability to analyse results, identify areas for improvement, and fine-tune applications to enhance end-user functionality.
* Advanced SQL skills for in-depth data validation and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Test Protocol Design & Development : Design and implement user acceptance testing protocols as the final phase of application development to ensure all functionality requirements are met for business client end-users.
* Audit Process Testing : Execute UAT efforts with a focus on audit systems, validating workflow accuracy and stage dependencies for audit compliance.
* Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with business analysts, developers, and data engineers within an agile environment to define and refine test scenarios.
* Documentation & Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, results, and issues, supporting transparency and compliance.
* Continuous Improvement : Analyse UAT outcomes and collaborate with development teams to make necessary refinements, enhancing application functionality.
