Salary
£34,866 to £46,485 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The University of Nottingham’s School of Health Sciences is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and aims to be a centre of National and International excellence in education, research, and practice development. The School has an excellent record in learning and teaching with several staff being awarded National and University Teaching awards.
The School of Health Sciences is seeking to appoint two part-time Teaching Associates to deliver clinical skills teaching. The post will support teaching and assessing clinical components and skills within Physiotherapy programmes, as well as developing clinical skills teaching materials. The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Skills, Clinical Skill Lead for Physiotherapy, relevant programme and course leads.
A mentor will provide support to the successful candidate during the period of induction. The post-holder will be accountable to the Director of Clinical Skills.
The successful candidates will be qualified Physiotherapists and will have clinical experience from within and/or across a broad range of areas including (but not exclusive to) musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurorehabilitation. The successful candidates will be keen to develop their own teaching practice, enjoy the challenge of helping students to learn and apply new knowledge, and wish to gain experience of working in a Higher Education setting. Experiential and formal teacher training in higher education is available. Support for further personal/professional development will be given on a pro-rata basis.
These are permanent posts based at the Nottingham Centre (QMC) and the David Ross Sports Village. Hours of work are part-time (14.5 hours per week).
