We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer for the Liverpool-Al Dhaid Veterinary Education Partnership.
Reporting to the Programme Director, this role will share responsibility for delivery of a new partnership between the University of Liverpool (UoL) and the University of Al Dhaid (UAD) in Sharjah in the UAE, which will lead to establishing a new Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at UAD, with the initial cohort of students in the 5-year programme entering in August 2025.
The role will be primarily based at the University of Liverpool and will require travel to the UAE.
You will play a central role in curriculum development and delivery. The new DVM programme will be based on the existing BVSc programme at UoL, with adaptations to address local context. You will work with UAD staff to advise on the design of new teaching and clinical facilities to support the DVM programme.
You should hold MRCVS (or be eligible for registration without the requirement to sit the membership examination).
The role will be offered on a 1-year rolling contract dependent on funding, and the position will be available from 1st June 2025.
