Location: Nationwide travel (fully expensed)
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 + package

The Company:
Our client is one of the largest privately owned main contractors in South Wales and have a strong and robust client portfolio of blue chip companies across the UK. The company specialise within in New Build construction within the Commercial, Hotels/Hospitality and Leisure sectors on projects typically between £1m - £7m in value. Projects are fast paced and can be anywhere across Wales and England so you must be able to work/live away from home.
Site Managert - The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join the operations team on projects across the country. You will be responsible for leading the day to day aspects of fast paced new build projects. The role will report to a Contracts Manager and be responsible for day to day delivery of site operations. You must be prepared to stay away from home / travel where required.
Site Manager - the role
* Establish key construction controls, with assistance from a Site Engineer, extracted from issued construction data supplied by the Design Team for boundary, main build, substructures, drainage and external works.
* Discuss and comment on programme / dates for sub-contractors with the Contracts Manager/Quantity Surveyor.
* Arrange and install primary Site Signage/hoarding/temporary fencing, all main elements including site boundary, check all main drainage is within site footprint.
* Ensure that engineering controls are consistent, regular and thorough.
* Establish positive communication with the Design Team.
* Maintain quality check procedure.
* Mark weekly progress to issued progress chart on company system.
* Ensure Health and Safety measure are fully implemented and controlled at all times.
* Advise the Contracts Manager of any deviations in quality, agreed sequences, or quality standards.
* Information Control: Regulate and maintain the Request for Information schedule (RFI) with updates, whilst communicating by email routinely to all relevant parties.
* Establish positive communications with the Client where necessary
Site Manager - The person
* You must have expience building Hotels, Hospitality or Care Homes
* Experience working for a regional or national main contractor
* Experience on New build construction projects of at least £3m in value
* You must have the ability to travel to projects / stay away where required
* Experience as Site Manager - with a strong record for delivery
