Job summary The role provides essential administrative support within the Specialised Cancer Services Care Group. We are seeking enthusiastic, professional admin audio typists with strong communication, organisational, and administrative skills. The ideal candidates will be methodical, organised, flexible, and uphold the Trust's PROUD values. A good understanding of patient confidentiality and administrative experience is required, along with effective computer skills including OCR level II or equivalent typing experience within an office environment. Experience within an NHS practice and with computer systems is desirable. Main duties of the job Maintain effective communication and foster good relationships with internal and external contacts as appropriate. Be responsible for contacting patients by telephone and the trusts text messaging services. Ensure the typing of clinical correspondence is accurate and timely to distribute to patients and care professionals. Process patient documentation and make available for the care team.
