We’re seeking a Kitchen Showroom Lead Taker & Business Developer to join us. This role will allow you to engage directly with customers while also driving new business and forging partnerships to help us expand our reach.
Role Overview:
As a Kitchen Showroom Lead Taker & Business Developer, you’ll be the face of our showroom, engaging with visitors, qualifying leads, and guiding them through our product offerings. At the same time, you’ll play an active role in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and nurturing long-term client relationships.
You’ll work closely with our sales and design team to convert showroom traffic into high-quality leads and develop strategies to expand our customer base. This is an exciting role for someone with a passion for kitchens and business development, offering variety and opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Lead Taker Responsibilities:
1. Greet and engage showroom visitors, providing them with expert knowledge about our kitchen products and services.
2. Qualify customer leads by understanding their kitchen needs, style preferences, and budget.
3. Record customer information and interaction details accurately in our CRM system to track and manage leads.
4. Assist customers in exploring design ideas, product options, and layout concepts.
5. Provide product demos and help visitors visualize their dream kitchen through the showroom displays.
6. Collaborate with the design and sales teams to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads for further consultation.
7. Follow up with showroom visitors to nurture leads and ensure they are progressing through the sales process.
8. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and inspiring showroom environment.
Business Development Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both in-person and via outreach (e.g., phone, email, networking).
2. Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients, contractors, interior designers, and other industry partners to generate new leads and business.
3. Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional campaigns and activities aimed at increasing showroom traffic and sales.
4. Track and report on business development activities and lead conversion rates.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with customers and business partners.
2. Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
3. Experience in business development or sales, with a track record of generating new business and meeting targets.
4. An understanding of kitchen design principles and trends is a plus, but not required—passion for the industry is key.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
6. Excellent organisational and time-management skills to manage both showroom responsibilities and business development activities.
7. Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and other tools to track leads, customers, and progress.
