This role would suit a highly experienced Caretaker/Premises Assist who is aiming to elevate their career.
Main duties:
* Operational Management of School Sites and Grounds: Ensure Trust school sites and grounds are maintained in a clean, safe, and secure condition for both daily and extended school activities.
* Assisting in Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Facilities Manager, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to implement the Trust’s estates vision, contributing to the development and execution of strategic plans that align with school objectives.
* Health and Safety Coordination: Ensure health and safety compliance across all school sites, supporting statutory inspections and implementing policies to maintain a safe environment.
* Premises and Cleaning Staff Oversight: Provide line management and support to premises staff, including induction, training, and performance monitoring.
* Financial and Resource Management: Assist in managing relevant budgets, focusing on best value through effective procurement and resource management.
