Woodbox Ltd is a newly established Timber Merchant & Wholesaler based near Winchester in Hampshire. The founder previously owned a successful merchant in Surrey, until it was sold to a large group of companies in 2022. We have big plans for Woodbox and are looking for enthusiastic and like-minded individuals seeking a new challenge in their career. Please note this is a start-up business. You will be offered a blank piece of paper to work off, but also be guided and coached by an experienced business owner with a background in the Timber industry spanning 25 years.

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Professional at Woodbox Ltd. The Sales Professional will be responsible for generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining customer relationships. This role is based in Winchester with the option to occasionally work from home. You will also be expected to visit customers and prospects across the South of England.
You will be dealing with both small and medium sized enterprises, which means the ability to communicate at all levels is hugely desirable.

* Customer Relationship Management
* Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
* Knowledge of Sales CRM tools
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Experience in the timber and builders merchant industry is an advantage
* Prepared to roll up their sleeves and provide the necessary support and commitment in getting a new business off the ground
* Social media knowledge also advantageous
Package on Offer
* Basic salary of £45k - £50k depending on experience + performance bonus + commission

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays per year
* Flexible working hours when required
* Monday to Friday only (no weekends)
