Steel and Cladding Retail Sales Assistant
This is a full-time position. We seek an enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our team. The role will be based at our depot in Abermule, Powys.
Job Role / Tasks:
1. Making / receiving calls from customers
2. Assisting with customer queries in person
3. Ordering and managing stock associated with stores
4. Booking out / invoicing and managing payments
5. Retrieving and sending quotations via email
6. Keeping records
7. Meeting with suppliers' representatives
Experience:
Experience in building supply sales and basic IT, managing payments, and invoicing is preferred. Training will be given.
Person Specification:
The applicant must have excellent communication skills, both in person and via telephone or email. They should be enthusiastic, courteous, patient, helpful, and willing to advise where necessary. The applicant will need to be able to work using their own initiative; however, support from the wider team will be available.
Working Hours:
(Weekdays only) Monday to Friday 07:30hrs – 17:30hrs, with the exception of Friday where the company closes at 17:00hrs.
Salary dependent on experience.
