Role: Clinical Service Manager
Location: Pulborough, West Sussex
Salary: £61,696.57 per annum

We are looking for a Clinical Service Manager for a 60-bed care service providing Nursing, Dementia, Residential, and Respite care. The care home is situated in the heart of Pulborough, where residents are supported to live life to the fullest. About the Role
As Clinical Service Manager, you will have 24-hour responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with residents, their families, the local community, GPs, and other professionals to create a vibrant and supportive environment.
Key Objectives:
1. Lead and inspire your team to deliver outstanding care aligned with our values.
2. Manage resources effectively, ensuring financial performance and high occupancy levels.
3. Drive continuous quality improvement through clinical governance frameworks.
4. Ensure compliance with all CQC, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
5. Embed a culture of meaningful activities to enhance residents' well-being and independence.
Leadership Responsibilities:
1. Be a visible and approachable role model, maintaining high standards and consistency in all actions and decisions.
2. Oversee employee recruitment, onboarding, and professional development to build a strong, motivated team.
3. Promote a culture of openness and continuous improvement across the service.
4. Address complaints and suggestions professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
General Management:
1. Effectively manage the service’s budget, achieving key performance indicators.
2. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including health and safety and environmental health standards.
3. Oversee and support residents in managing their financial affairs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
4. Champion the integration of meaningful activities into daily routines, facilitated by the entire team.
Essential Requirements:
1. Qualified Nurse with a valid PIN.
2. QCF Level 5 or equivalent.
3. CQC Registration.
4. Proven experience managing a care service of similar size and client group.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
6. A caring, compassionate, and person-centred approach to care.
