We are recruiting for a Cloud Enablement Engineer (Cloud Engineer) in our new Infrastructure Enablement Engineering function within Infrastructure and Operations to help drive delivering new cloud technologies and improving the way the Cloud team provides services to its consumers.

A bit about the job:
This role will sit within Hosting and Service Platforms, reporting to the Infrastructure Enablement Engineering Lead. You will be working to support our Cloud Platform consumers onboard quickly, utilise known patterns and blueprints & provide subject matter expertise across AWS, Azure & Container platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity that will provide you with a variety of work, supporting all of our Cloud Platform consumers by developing and enhancing our Cloud capabilities.
You'll be at the forefront of delivering expertise, IaC (Infrastructure as Code) & assurance to market development teams while also working with peers in the Cloud Platform teams to improve service & automation for the best developer experience possible.
As our team continues to expand, there is significant potential for this role to grow into a managerial position, offering exciting career advancement opportunities.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
1. Proficient in delivering Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning, Ansible for configuration management, Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps for end-to-end automation.
2. Extensive experience with AWS/Azure services including Cloud architectural principles such as Well Architected frameworks.
3. Skilled in developing and enhancing cloud capabilities, providing subject matter expertise, and troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues.
4. Adept at utilising known patterns and blueprints to streamline consumer onboarding processes and ensure efficient cloud resource management.
5. Fantastic stakeholder engagement, you will be able to work with, understand and translate complex challenges/requirements into deliveries for your team.

1. Starting salary circa £55,000 for National based or circa £70,000 for London based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
