Contract and Commercial Lead Location: London, Norwich, York, Bristol Salary: circa £65,000 Are you a commercial subject matter expert, with robust experience in contract management who would be interested in contributing to the success of one of Aviva's most exciting teams? We are looking for an experienced Contract and Commercial Lead to join as an SME for one of our most crucial suppliers - FNZ. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with the business and suppliers to ensure customer and business critical services are delivered to requirements. Establishing yourself as the go to subject matter expert for associated supplier contracts, with clear accountability, whilst being part of a team of commercial professionals. Commercially inquisitive, you'll enjoy identifying and driving out commercial opportunities to benefit Aviva. A bit about the job: The successful role holder will be responsible for managing supplier contract on behalf of Aviva e.g. management of Supplier and Aviva obligations, contract changes, drafting Statements of Work, risk, financials, disputes, exit management and benchmarking. In addition, working with the business and supplier to contract for new business and change of business requirements. Proactively drive commercial opportunities and/or mitigations to Aviva benefit. Responsible for contract management of the FNZ Agreement incl. but not limited to; contracting for change & new business, as well as managing contract risk, financials, obligations (supplier and Aviva), disputes, exit management, and benchmarking. Establish yourself as the contract subject matter expert for the FNZ contract and associated Statements of Work. Ensure FNZ Supplier Relationship Managers (SRMs) are aware of the contract obligations on Aviva, and those of the supplier are met applying contractual levers as required. Work with SRMs to support performance escalations in line with contractual levers and dispute resolution processes. Maximise and extract commercial value, whilst supporting SRMs in terms of maintaining highly effective service and delivering great customer outcomes. Understand business demand, business objectives and risk appetite to inform and proactively drive commercial opportunities and/or mitigations to Aviva benefit. Track, mitigate and manage FNZ contract and supply chain risks to Aviva Review and monitor ongoing compliance of FNZ managed contracts with Aviva Group's Procurement and Outsourcing Standard Skills and experience we're looking for: Significant experience and a proven track record of delivering Commercial, SRM, or Category Management within a demanding, fast evolving environment Leading and managing complex negotiations Developing complex supplier agreements Leading and managing strategic and/or business critical supplier relationships and contracts Proven track record of building strong internal business relationships at all levels.
