Our customers demand a high-performance supplier and to continue to meet this demand we are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support the growth of our Pro AV market position in the UK and Ireland.
This is a great opportunity for someone with B2B sales experience who will work alongside ADI's nationwide sales teams to identify sales growth opportunities with new and existing customers. Ideally you will have field sales experience from the commercial audio/visual industry and/or Electronic Security industry, however we are keen to speak to candidates from Electrical Wholesale, Trade and other similar industries.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Build Pro AV market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
2. Working with Category Management this role will develop and execute annual strategic plans for assigned programs, including roadmaps, positioning, marketing programs, price strategy, competitive analysis, etc.
3. Capture and expand ProAV customer base - hunter mentality
4. Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
5. Reports out to management on progress, financials and business issues each month.
6. Provides metric and data analysis, insight and recommendations
7. Identify and secure relationships customers within the Pro AV industry
8. Provides direction on resources, educational and training programs for ADI field sales and customer
9. Facilitate training/education tracks with peers, suppliers and customers
10. Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
11. Locates or proposes potential business deals
12. Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
13. Estimates partners’ needs and goals – translating opportunities to sales
YOU MUST HAVE:
14. 3+ years experience in sales, marketing or business development
15. Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales and/or marketing role within a high volume, high transaction retail/wholesale environment
16. Minimum 2 years experience in commercial audio/visual industry
17. Driving License
