Our client is looking for an adaptable Accounts Assistant with broad experience, ideally involving intercompany recharges and basic accruals. This growing engineering business is based near Camberley and there is plenty of potential for growth within this role.
The Accounts Assistant Will Be:
* Processing purchase invoices, setting up payments for approval, and entering payments into the weekly cash flow forecast.
* Processing cost of sale invoices and stock entries.
* Matching supplier invoices to orders and ensuring prices and documentation is accurate.
* Assisting with bank reconciliations.
* Managing employee expenses and expense reporting against budget.
* Working with the team to resolve debt in query and invoice issues, sending weekly AR reports to the sales team.
* Preparing draft UK VAT returns.
* Taking responsibility for basic intercompany accruals and recharges.
* Uploading Amex statement and reconciliations.
* Tracking prepayments and releasing to profit and loss.
We're looking for a candidate with strong communication and customer care skills. Excellent attention to detail will be needed with a keen focus on quality.
