Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Trainer to join our team at Hydro building systems UK Ltd, a leading supplier of window, door and curtain wall systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees and clients regarding our products and software (estimating package) solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Training Development: Design and create comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules tailored to various audiences.
* Conduct Training Sessions: Facilitate engaging training sessions for employees, fabricators, and installers, both in-person and virtually.
* Assess Training Needs: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
* Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest window system technologies and industry trends to ensure training content is relevant and accurate.
* Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from participants to continuously improve training programs and materials.
* Documentation: Maintain records of training sessions, participant progress, and training outcomes.
* Travel Requirements: Regular travel within the UK and overnight stays will be required to conduct training sessions at various locations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a trainer or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of window and curtain wall systems and installation processes.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
* Proficient in using training software and tools (estimating software).
