Our client has been established for over 40 years and is a market leading manufacturer within the plant industry, offering a fantastic training scheme with plenty of internal opportunities to progress within the business.The package:31 days holiday including bank holidaysCompany van, Fuel Card, mobile phone etcOvertime available at enhance rateIn-depth company training schemeCompany tool allowanceCompany pension schemeLife assurance – 3x basic salaryEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) – Health & Medical support offeredFlexible Additional Holiday – salary sacrificeA fantastic Earning Potential with scope to progress within the businessThe Duties:Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.The Requirements:Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)Previous experience working as a mechanical/electrical engineer within the plant and/or automotive industries (essential)Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering – minimum level 2 (essential)Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)Full UK Drivers License
