We are looking to further develop our teams in Birmingham and other offices and are looking for Senior Accountants who have the ability and personality to add value to our clients and our team.
Ideally, you will come with practice experience and have a good understanding of accounts, tax, and business advisory projects. Experienced individuals from Industry are also welcome. Our firm works with a wide range of businesses, and we will give you the opportunity to work on an interesting and varied client portfolio.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN INDIVIDUALS:
1. Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant with experience in an accountancy practice
2. Dynamic client and people skills
3. Outgoing personality, with a real desire to help people and clients
4. Knowledge of Cloud based Accounts systems, like Xero, Sage etc. would be beneficial
5. Ability to manage own workload and work both independently and as part of the team
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to process information accurately
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Working with a Client portfolio to help them with their annual and monthly accounts
2. Producing and submitting VAT returns, Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns
3. Liaising with Clients to build relationships and ensure their needs and statutory deadlines are delivered effectively.
4. Providing client advice in an accurate, appropriate, and timely manner
5. Helping Clients with other services, for example, payroll, annual returns, forecasts, and business plans
6. Reviewing the work of team members and coaching them where appropriate to ensure client work delivered is accurate and timely
7. Opportunities to attend network events to promote the business and personal development
