Job Overview
Sandwell CAMHS is a diverse and creative MDT, and we have a vacancy for a passionate, enthusiastic, and committed registered nurse to join our community CAMHS team.
The post holder will be part of the STEPP (suicide and trauma) constellation, which includes the small CIC team, and will hold a caseload of Children in Care and core CAMHS cases. They will also be expected to complete CAMHS assessments and hold Voice of the Child meetings and Professional meetings.
Main Duties of the Job
* Be an active member of the MDT
* Complete all relevant assessments
* Complete risk assessments and care plans
* Complete record keeping as per guidelines
* Attend all relevant meetings
* Attend all relevant training
* Provide supervision to junior members of staff
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
* Nursing Degree
* Professional Registration
* Knowledge of mental health in children and adolescents
* Experience of working with Children In Care
* Passionate about CAMHS
Desirable Criteria
* Postgraduate training/course relevant to CAMHS
* Supervision of junior staff
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £37,338.00-£44,960.00 per year

* Working with children in care: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
* Nursing Degree with active valid pin (required)
* Knowledge of mental health in adolescents/young people (required)
* Passion for CAMHS (required)
