Director, Estates and Farm Agency
This company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join their successful Estate and Farm Agency team in Lewes. As a Director, you will be responsible for achieving personal financial targets and budget, maximising gross profit, and delivering timely and high-quality advice and transactions to clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve personal financial targets and budget, maximise gross profit
2. Ensure delivery of timely and high-quality advice and transactions to clients
3. Meet with clients and assess their particular needs
4. Manage the team and ensure set objectives are set and met
5. Register and manage applicants
6. Conduct market appraisals
7. Arrange and attend viewings around homes
8. Canvass for new business opportunities
9. Explain building issues and regulations to the clients
10. Respond to queries via e-mail and telephone
11. Liaise with solicitors
12. Close deals
13. Responsible (sometimes jointly) for successful delivery of all assignments in the area of expertise
14. High-profile ambassador for this company / BNP Paribas Real Estate in the area of expertise
15. Undertake business planning activities in line with the company's aims
16. Bill regularly and collect fees as quickly as possible
17. Accurately forecast fees for the office when required to do so
18. Assist in developing initiatives to improve revenue and profitability
19. An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion
Person Specification:
20. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum
21. Excellent telephone manner and client-facing skills
22. Significant track record within the local residential sector with a broad cross-section of clients
23. Proven fee earner
24. Self-starter and can work with little supervision and, where appropriate, under pressure
25. Demonstrate a knowledge of the market in which you operate within
