The successful applicant will work in schools, clinics and family homes with children, young people and babies to deliver vaccinations in a safe and professional way. Engagement with hard to reach groups such as travellers and children who are looked after is another aspect of the teams remit and the band 6 responsibilities will include supporting this work in the community. The ability to communicate well and remain calm under pressure is essential. We welcome applicants who can demonstrate a willingness to work flexibly and co-operatively with colleagues both within their own team and the wider multidisciplinary teams across the whole SCFT area. You will need to be motivated, conscientious and committed to supporting us to maintain high vaccination coverage across Sussex. The role requires working core hours of 08.00 16.00 with flexibility at either end of the day for packing of vaccines and clinic cover, on a rota basis within the team. Occasional home working will be considered. All team members support the whole of the SCFT Immunisation Service therefore you must be a car owner/driver and be willing to travel to clinics and schools within Sussex.
