YOUR ROLE | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
* Support ensuring that all existing and new drivers are kept up to date with Company and Legal policy requirements.
* Ensure that all inductions are carried out in line with company and legal obligations and policies.
* Manage, analyse and report on Tachograph data, ensuring full compliance is achieved.
* Manage and deliver customer specific training as required.
* Proactively deliver theoretical and practical training to colleagues as required.
* Complete and deliver periodic refresher training for drivers.
* Ensure a proactive approach to compliance is upheld at all times, creating and championing a culture of continuous improvement at every opportunity.
* Site marshalling.
* Work closely with Transport Managers to ensure that O License related content is managed and applied.
* Carry out gatehouse checks.
* Manage and control the purchase and issuing of company uniforms and PPE.
* Assist the Company in driving for results, FORS, DVSA Earned Recognition.
* Compile and retain comprehensive driver training records.
* Assist with all duties related to driver safety and site regulations.
WHAT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* HGV License & Driver CPC.
* Strong working knowledge of LGV operations.
* Full understanding and working knowledge of up-to-date drivers' hours rules & regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
* Excellent IT skills, with demonstrable experience of relevant IT systems and MS Office packages.
* An eagerness to proactively develop your own knowledge, skills and experience, with a willingness to undertake further training opportunities available to you.
