Our team is passionate about both our local community and work-life balance, which is why we offer hybrid working options. We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join our property team and help provide first-class residential property services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, leases, and remortgages.
* Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
* Manage the full lifecycle of conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion and registration.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to ensure timely communication and client satisfaction.
* Conduct due diligence, including title checks, contract negotiation, and land registry applications.
* Draft and review contracts, leases, and related property documents.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and stay updated on developments in property law.
* Contribute to business development by attending networking events and assisting in producing legal articles and marketing materials related to property law.
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with 3+ years of experience in conveyancing.
* Strong understanding of residential and commercial property law.
* Demonstrable ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and client care.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus on delivering clear and practical advice to clients.
* Proficiency in using case management systems and digital platforms for property transactions.
* A proactive and client-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between offices and to client meetings may be required.
