We are seeking passionate and dedicated kindergarten English teachers to join our vibrant team in Shenzhen. Teaching Style
You will employ a student-centered teaching style that emphasizes active learning and engagement. Teaching Materials
You will be provided with a comprehensive curriculum and a wide range of teaching materials to support your lessons. These include picture books, flashcards, educational games, and digital resources that align with our pedagogical goals. Teachers are also encouraged to develop their own supplementary materials to enhance the learning experience. Continuous professional development is supported through regular training sessions and access to new teaching tools and resources.
Students
Our students range from 3 to 6 years old. As a kindergarten teacher, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans that are age-appropriate and engaging for young learners. You will monitor students’ progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their learning goals.
Job Responsibilities
In addition to teaching English, the kindergarten teacher will participate in various aspects of school life. This includes attending staff meetings, participating in school events and extracurricular activities, and collaborating with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. You will also communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child’s progress and to involve them in the learning process. Teach English in Shenzhen
Shenzhen is located in the southern portion of the Guangdong Province, on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta. Neighboring the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong (located just south of Shenzhen), Shenzhen’s location gives it a geographical advantage for economic development. In 1980, the first Special Economic Zone of China was built in Shenzhen. From then on, Shenzhen become a highlighted city of China, one known for its rapid economic growth.
Shenzhen is considered as one of the richest cities in the country which offers foreigners a great insight into contemporary China. From a small fishing village 30 years ago, Shenzhen has turned into a city filled with dynamic energy and on its way to becoming a world-class metropolis. Shenzhen is also known for its famous architecture, bars, restaurants, art scenes and shopping areas.
Main Responsibilities
-Maximum number of 18 – 24 teaching hours per week
-Monday to Friday schedule (8:00am – 12:00pm and 2:30pm to 5:30pm)
-Average of 20 to 40 students per class
-Student ages: 3 to 6 year olds
-Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, exams, etc.)
-Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
-Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities
-Observe and understand students’ behavior and educational needs
Compensation
-Excellent base salary: 23,000 – 25,000 RMB per month (includes housing allowance)
-Airfare reimbursement on contract completion: 5,000 RMB
-Hotel allowance provided upon arrival at our school
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided
-Health insurance provided
-Free weekly Mandarin classes provided
-Visa document reimbursement: 2,000 RMB (only for overseas teachers)
-Annual salary increase based on performance
-All national holidays plus 10,000 RMB for winter and summer holidays
-Airport pick-up service
-One week teaching job orientation and cultural immersion will be provided by our experienced team upon your arrival
-Professional pre-job training with on-going program supervision
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree
-TEFL certificate (120 hours or above) required (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL )
-Native English speaker from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South African
-2 years of teaching experience preferred (will consider candidates with no experience)
-Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
-Well-organized and committed
-Creative and energetic
