Job Title: B1/C Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Aeropeople have partnered with a Part 145 MRO who are now looking to hire a permanent B1/C Licensed Aircraft Engineer to be based at their site at Biggin Hill airport.
The company offers a bespoke aircraft service ranging from charter flights for business or leisure, professional maintenance of private jets, professional aircraft acquisition and sales service, and tailored management solutions, including EASA Part-NCC assistance.
Based at Biggin Hill Airport, Kent, they are within easy reach of London, the rest of the UK and Europe. They provide support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, servicing the diverse needs of aircraft owners, charter clients and maintenance customers.
Due to continuous growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for B1/C Licensed Engineers to join their team, to support their growing activities within their Learjet fleet and third party maintenance covering Bombardier & Textron approvals.
This role works on a shift pattern: 5 on/ 5 off/ 4 on/ 5 off/ 5 on/ 4 off. Working hours are 7am- 7pm.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Assist and manage certifying base and line maintenance in accordance with the approved data on both group and customer aircraft within the allocated timeframe.
2. Ensure that Airworthiness, Safety and Quality Controls are complied with at all times.

About You:
1. UK Part 66 and/ or EASA Part 66 B1.1/C Licence
2. Type rated on any of the following; Cessna 525, Cessna 560XLS, Cessna 680A, Learjet 45, BD100 (CL300), CL600-2B16 (604 variant), BD700 Global.
3. Full UK driving licence.
4. Able to obtain airside security clearance.
5. Ability to manage a team of support staff for Base and Line maintenance activities.
6. Computer literate and familiar with CAFAM and Microsoft Office products.
7. Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and industry procedures including troubleshooting of defects.
8. Must be highly proficient with aircraft documentation and have a broad skill set in aircraft maintenance, repair and trouble shooting.
9. Must have excellent communication skills at all levels.
10. Must have good planning and time management skills.
11. Must be highly motivated and a good team member.
12. Must be able to work under pressure and in a flexible manner.
13. Must have experience in managing large base maintenance checks and giving oversight to a team of support staff.
