The role will be diverse and will ultimately involve you being responsible for establishing, managing, and monitoring standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure compliance with legal, customer, and accreditation requirements. We ideally need a confident, articulate and at times, customer-facing compliance and audit person who ideally has experience working within the scope of BRC requirements. We are looking for someone who has a genuine desire to be the best in class, help build a successful division, work closely with the Group Compliance Manager and her team as well as the General Manager. Main duties to include: Support, implement and review BRC accreditations and documentation Prepare and run business audits Conduct internal audits and traceability exercises Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions Develop supplier monitoring systems Maintain Technical KPI systems Ensure compliance within the supply base Ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and ways of reducing risks Conduct safety inspections and ensure correct reporting Review Health & Safety policies and documentation Investigate and document accidents and near-misses Compile health and safety data and statistics Coordinate health & safety policies and procedures Maintain health & safety and training records Stay updated with health & safety legislation and compliance Liaise with external consultants and regulatory authorities We are looking for: Experience within a manufacturing environment NEBOSH (General Certificate) either qualified or working towards a qualification Good people skills Confident when speaking/dealing with customers Robust attention to detail Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment Logical thinker with process improvement skills A methodical approach to audits and evolving legislation Driver In return you can expect: £32 - £38k Dependant on Experience 25 days holiday (with Xmas shutdown) Bank Hols Contributory pension Healthcare plan Free parking If you are interested in this position, please contact Rachel on: 0161 359 3111 or email a copy of your CV using the link.
