Transport Administrator Job Description
AnyPallet AnyWhere (MPF Group) has been a general haulage transport company for over 40 years and is also part of a Pallet Network. Our Operations Team are currently recruiting for a Full Time Transport & Operations Administrator to join our busy growing Sales Team. The required hours are Monday to Friday; 09.00am till 17.00pm.
Key Responsibilities will include: (Full training will be provided)
* To answer incoming calls and emails in a timely fashion
* Processing consignments
* To work hand in hand with the operations team
* To answer incoming phone calls from other TPN depots and advise ETA’s etc
* To liaise with drivers regarding deliveries and collections
* Printing driver run sheets, manifests, loading lists and TPN labels
* Discrepping pallets
* Liaising with customers daily regarding discrepancies and issues
* General Customer Services
* Sending a daily handover email to the team
Measures of Performance will include:
* Detailed Daily Handover Email sent
* All necessary pallets routed and planned out each morning with any issues reported to customers/depots in a timely fashion
About You
In order to be successful for this role you must have experience in a customer service/sales role, be goal orientated and able to adapt and work well under pressure. Be self-motivated, possess good oral and written communication skills as most of the admin work will be on email, Microsoft Word/Excel and online portal systems. You must be able to work well independently and as part of a team. Ideally you will have worked in a haulage/freight environment.
We’ll also expect you to have:
* Ability to manage own time effectively to meet targets and deadlines
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office
* Be able to adapt to suit the needs of Pallet Network and General Haulage customers
* Be able to deal with customer service issues in a professional and calm manner
* Have the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and resilient approach
* Excellent time management skills are essential

Education: GCSE or equivalent
Experience:
* Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
* Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
