A service based in Linton is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 18 hours per week, all year round - the perfect balance!
Hours will be Monday – Friday, 03:00 – 06:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus 3 additional admin hours. Note that this role could be negotiated to 4 days if needed. There will also be opportunities to work at either our Woady Yaloak or Magpie Holiday Program service during the school holidays.
In addition to a competitive salary, there is a $500 commencement bonus at the completion of the first month plus another $500 loyalty bonus at 12 months, plus split shift allowance, uniform allowance, other benefits, and superannuation.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state-specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
* Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art, and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
* Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
* Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
* Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
