Overview
A rewarding and exciting head office-based role focused on uncovering, developing and closing sales opportunities within new and existing customer accounts in the Food & Beverage Production sector. As part of Klipspringer’s high-performing Food & Beverage Production sales team, this role will involve working closely with the relevant Regional BD Manager(s) to generate, develop and close leads and opportunities, as well as setting and following through on face-to-face customer appointments
Roles & Responsibilities
* Outbound business development activity, primarily via telephone and virtual meetings, to increase product range awareness, uncover sales opportunities and ultimately grow revenue from an assigned customer territory or product category.
* When required, set up qualified face-to-face appointments for the regional sales team members.
* Qualify, nurture and close incoming leads and sales enquiries as required. These could be from Marketing, face-to-face visits or the Customer Support team.
* Build up a strong network of industry contacts and utilise them for recommendations and referrals.
* Personal development and participation in team training to develop business development and customer contact skills.
* Monitor and report on personal results to sales manager. Analyse what isn't working and make improvements.
* Additional prospecting and follow-up of opportunities outside of immediate sales territory as required.
* Plus any other tasks reasonably requested of you.

* MSI churn % (account contact rate)

* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to Klipspringer's sales methodology, becoming an ambassador for this.

* Well-organised, with strong planning and prioritisation skills. This will include correct use of the CRM, good time management and strong pipeline management.
* Experience with handling sales opportunities and interacting professionally with customers via phone and virtual meetings.
* Ability to consistently remain driven and motivated, even on longer-term opportunities.
* Strong knowledge of sales and business development tactics.
* Ability to use initiative in a variety of challenging situations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
