About us
Argyll Countryside Trust (ACT) is a charity dedicated to caring for, enhancing, and promoting the coast and countryside of Argyll and the Isles. We aim to ensure that these natural spaces can be enjoyed by the people who live, work, and visit here.
We are developing a pioneering Woodland Enterprise Hub to spotlight Argyll’s rainforest as a resource for supporting enterprise, employment, and cultural and social opportunities. A key component of this initiative is the ACT Rainforest Squad, which will run training programmes and contract delivery. This ensures that Argyll-based contractors and volunteers gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to advance Argyll’s Rainforest Strategy.
