Customer Service Advisor (Insurance)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
Location: Ringwood, Hampshire
Hours: 37¼ hours per week Monday – Friday (between 9.00am – 6.00pm)
Our client is seeking a dynamic and professional Customer Service professional to join a thriving team in Ringwood, Hampshire. As a leading broker in the non-standard home insurance market, they’re committed to providing exceptional coverage to customers with complex needs.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will engage with customers, providing expert guidance to ensure their needs are met.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a consistently positive experience.
* Manage new sales enquiries via email or inbound calls.
* Collaborate effectively with internal departments, adhering to established processes.
* Administer policies and respond to enquiries via telephone, email, and online chat.
* Provide accurate product and underwriting information to empower customers to make informed decisions.
* Maintain professional standards in all aspects of work, including conduct, timekeeping, and attendance.
* Adhere to all regulatory standards, call quality benchmarks, service standards, and company policies, with a focus on treating customers fairly.
* Effectively assess customer needs and present advice clearly and accurately.
Skills/experience Required as a Customer Service Advisor:
* Previous experience within an office based customer service environment.
* Experience within the financial services sector highly desirable, but not essential
* A professional attitude with exceptional customer service skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to influence and persuade others
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* A positive and adaptable attitude
