The Role Accounts Coordinator
This is a key role working as part of our professional Accounts team taking responsibility for daily bank account management, processing payments, dealing with invoices and responding to related queries.
As an Accounts Coordinator you will:
* Conduct daily and monthly bank account management including bank reconciliations, transfers and performing cash reconciliations.
* Daily reconciliations between point of sale and account system.
* Process payment of suppliers and expenses across multiple companies using BACS and International payment platforms.
* Process purchase invoices - receive, check and process all supplier invoices and record details accurately in the purchase ledger.
* Set up suppliers in line with policy, ensuring all information is captured and vendor details are verified and up to date.
* Produce sales ledger invoices after checking the information provided by the requester. Undertake sales ledger management including aged debtor review and credit control.
* Support other functions within the wider finance team as and when required
* Conduct the administration and posting to the accounts systems of the organisation’s credit card and expenses.
* Answer queries, providing an effective and efficient service.
* Use the accounts, commercial systems and Excel in an efficient way to post, reconcile and assist with the activities of the Accounts department including administration, and key balance sheet accounts.
* Conduct relevant administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, email inbox management and archiving as required.

The Package
* 40 hours per week. Core hours of work are 8.30-5pm, Monday-Friday.
* Possibility of home working up to two days per week (subject to Zoo policy)
* 33 days annual leave per year
* Salary of £27,306.96 per annum

Our Requirements
* Experience working in a similar role undertaking similar duties.
* A good standard of education including Maths and English.
* Good organisational skills and a flexible approach to work.
* Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
* An eye for detail to accurately record and input data.
Although not essential, the following would be desirable:
* Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics Nav accounting software or Business Central.
* Previous experience of using Continia Document Capture, or equivalent system.
* Relevant professional qualification or working towards.
