Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £83.95 - £95 Per day Job Duties: Supporting classroom teachers in delivering educational programmes Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help Supervising students during lessons and activities Assisting with the assessment and evaluation of student progress Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Education: Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Experience: Experience working in a school or educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Good understanding of the national curriculum Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: This role involves working in a classroom environment, following the school's academic calendar. The Teaching Assistant may need to assist with extracurricular activities and events outside of normal school hours.
